The beautiful Simli lake is fed by the melting snow and natural springs. The water stored from the lake is supplied to Islamabad for drinking purposes.

How to get there
Simli Lake is located approximately 30 km from Islamabad in the Murree Hills.  Simli Lake and Dam can be reached via Lehtrar road or via Bhara Kahu.



Accomodation
This lovely lake has boats for rent and great fishing opportunities.The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has a Rest House at the Dam, which can be booked through its Head Office in Islamabad.
